Halloween has always been my favorite holiday, and it’s only gotten better since I found my mates. We’ve had the best Haunted House in Greenbriar three years running, followed by a supes-only after-party that kills… usually only figuratively. 

This year, I’m a vampire ringmaster leading our guests through our Victorian house, each room outfitted with a sideshow guaranteed to thrill and chill. But this year things feel especially spooky. 

Beyond the usual nosy neighbors, too-stupid-to-live teenagers, and uninvited visitors, something else lingers. There’s a darkness lurking in the corners and a new scent on the wind. But most alarming of all are my ten-year-old sisters who are definitely up to somethin’.
